Josh Wander served as an IDF commander in Lebanon and officer in the US Air Force aux. before graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs. Politically he served as an adviser in the Israeli parliament and as the online content editor for The Jerusalem Post. In the US, he was the Republican nominee for mayor of Pittsburgh. Today Josh lives with his wife and six children on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, and is an active first responder with the Hatzalah, MADA and Zaka emergency medical aid organizations. He heads the ‘Bring Them Home Project’ – www.IsraelTorah.org

Born and raised in Elizabeth, N.J., Rabbi Moshe Lichtman studied in several Yeshivot in Israel, including Beit Midrash LeTorah, the Gruss Kollel, Sha’alvim, and the Meretz Kollel in Mevaseret Tzion.
He received rabbinic ordination (semichah) from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He also holds an MS in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Institute.
Rabbi Lichtman made aliyah in 1991 and has taught in several post high school programs in Israel ever since. These include the Mevaseret Institutions, Yeshivat Yesodei HaTorah, Torat Shraga, Lev HaTorah, and Orayta. He is best known for his landmark translations of Eim HaBanim Semeichah, An Angel Among Men (a biography on Rav Kook), A Question of Redemption, and Rise from the Dust, and for his highly popular original works, Eretz Yisrael in the Parashah, and A Drop in the Ocean.
He currently resides in Beit Shemesh with his wife and eight children.
