Natalie interviews Rabbi Ari Posner, head of the N. American section of “Israela” an organization that has been around for 30 years facilitating “group aliyah.” This is when several people make aliyah together, from the same country, with the same language, to the same place in Israel. There are many Jews who want to make aliyah, but don’t feel comfortable making the move alone. Group aliyah provides community support when making this life change. Israela has successfully brought thousands of olim to Israel, mostly from France. They have expanded their work to North America in the past two years.
