Would you like to substitute unhealthy sweet and fattening pudding treats that your children (and maybe you too) love, for something healthier?
Does something organic that looks and tastes the same sound good to you? YES? Then continue reading! It’s easier than you think. And you can enjoy the treat without feeling bad about sugar and fat.
1 liter organic chocolate soy milk
1 liter organic vanilla soy milk / rice / coconut / oat / hazel nut milk + 4-6 drops of stevia
2-3 packages of kosher gelatin
Use 1 package – which is for 500 ml water if you want the consistence same as the pudding treat and serve it inside cup.
Or you can use 1 and half package if you want to make it look nice and professional – more like jello – and to serve it out of form/mold.
I used one package and made it into the form/mold but it was not holding shape very well.
(Optional: whipped cream spray and/or waffles to serve.)
Separately mix chocolate and the other organic parve milk with gelatin powder. Let is sit for about 10 minutes and bring close to boil.
It is up to you if you pour it into individual serving cups (you can even use the cups from the pudding treats if you want to be less suspicious in front of your kids) or some nice form/mold. Bigger the mold is – longer it takes to cool off. Wait overnight to serve in the big mold. Alternate the layers – white, dark, white and dark to make it as close as the pudding product, just try to pour a bit at the time.
